Our Commitment

MBazemore AI Solutions is committed to ensuring that our website and digital services are accessible to all people, including individuals with disabilities. We are actively working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as defined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and we believe accessibility is a civil right, not a checkbox.

Legal Basis

We recognize our obligations under:

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title III — which courts have consistently applied to websites as places of public accommodation
  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
  • Maryland Web Accessibility Standards

Current Accessibility Features

  • Skip navigation link to bypass repeated content
  • Semantic HTML landmark regions (main, nav, footer)
  • Meaningful alt text on all informational images
  • Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • ARIA labels on icon-only buttons
  • Modal dialogs with proper role, aria-modal, and focus management
  • Respect for prefers-reduced-motion system settings
  • Color contrast meeting WCAG 2.1 AA minimums (4.5:1 for normal text)
  • Programmatically associated form labels
  • Responsive design supporting zoom up to 200% without horizontal scrolling

Known Limitations

We are continuously improving. Known areas we are actively addressing include:

  • Some third-party embedded content (Skool, Teachable) may not meet our accessibility standards — we are working with those vendors to improve their compliance
  • Some older PDF documents may not be fully screen-reader accessible
